New technologies, algorithms, systems, and applications shape our everyday lives. We are interested in the worlds created through them – whether real or imagined.

This year’s programme is built around three interconnected thematic threads that serves as a compass, guiding us between grand narratives and global challenges on one side, and personal and whispered stories on the other.

imagining – envisioning worlds and speculating on possible scenarios for today and for the future.

mediating – understanding the tools and media that shape how we experience the world; navigating a reality of technological, cultural and social change.

belonging – seeking new and revisiting existing forms of community, coexistence and connection.
