ABOUT FESTIVAL

INTER:AKT is an international festival bringing together art and technology through a hybrid programme – on-site in Katowice and online.

We see ourselves as part of a critical debate on our digital and analogue realities, and the futures they point towards.

INTER:AKT offers a space to exchange knowledge and ideas, focusing on artistic and creative processes where imagination and new technologies become tools for research and experimentation.

Through exhibitions, talks, screenings and online activities, we present projects that not only comment on reality, but propose alternative ways of understanding it – building collaboration and new relationships along the way.

ORGANISED by ArtPolis Center for Cultural Development Foundation

The ArtPolis Centre for Cultural Development Foundation is an organisation working in the fields of art, culture, education, science and new technologies. We create and support artistic, research and educational projects that respond to contemporary social challenges and foster dialogue between creators, audiences and researchers. Our mission is to support the development of creative communities, promote Polish culture and art abroad, and initiate cross-sector collaboration. We carry out research, publishing and expert activities, developing knowledge about contemporary culture and its social significance. We organise and co-create performances, exhibitions, festivals, artist residencies, workshops, conferences and educational projects.
