OPEN CALL 2026
Show us your perspective on post-digital reality and the worlds emerging through new technologies, algorithms, systems and applications – whether real or imagined.
We are looking for projects, practices, and research-based works that engage with the theme of this year’s festival edition.
The Open Call is addressed to individuals working at the intersection of art, technology, and digital media – including those creating or researching digital culture, games, film (e.g. fiction, animation, documentary), as well as programmers and curators (the list is open).
This year’s programme is built around three interconnected thematic threads that serves as a compass, guiding us between grand narratives and global challenges on one side, and personal and whispered stories on the other.
imagining – envisioning worlds and speculating on possible scenarios for today and for the future.
mediating – understanding the tools and media that shape how we experience the world; navigating a reality of technological, cultural and social change.
belonging – seeking new and revisiting existing forms of community, coexistence and connection.
Selected participants will be invited to be part of the programme of the international INTER:AKT festival, where they will have the opportunity to present their projects to the public, connect with artists, researchers, and organisations, and join a growing network of people working at the intersection of art and technology.
